Shafaq News / The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, called in a message today, Thursday, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, to take the holiday as an opportunity to further deepen the spirit of tolerance, harmony and coexistence between the religious and national components of Kurdistan.
Barzani’s message, which was received by Shafaq News, stated that he offers “the warmest congratulations to the families and families of the martyrs, the father and the peshmerga heroes, and all Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, as well as the interior forces, doctors, health personnel and institutions concerned with saving the lives of citizens and addressing the epidemic of the Corona virus in the Kurdistan Region, on the occasion of Eid Blessed Sacrifice.
“I hope that we take this holiday as an opportunity to further deepen the spirit of tolerance, harmony, and coexistence between the religious and national components of Kurdistan, and that our efforts all of us to eliminate the differences achieve brilliant and final success,” Barzani said.
The president assured the region, “The Kurdistanis that we are continuing and going forward in this way, and we must on all sides to mobilize our capabilities and work together to solve and overcome crises and problems and ensure constitutional rights and benefits and protect the status and entity of the Kurdistan Region.”
Barzani added, “I look with great respect and gratitude to the steadfastness and patience of the Kurds in the face of crises and difficulties resulting from the epidemic of the Corona virus and its economic repercussions.”
He expressed hope that “we celebrate our upcoming holidays in happiness and tranquility, and that we have passed through the difficulties and have opened a bright horizon in the face of the Kurds. I also call upon all to take health and preventive measures.”
