Parliamentary Finance: Parliament will receive the 2021 budget in October … and this is the fate of 2020

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} Member of Parliament’s Finance Committee, Mahasin Hamdoun, revealed the handing over of the 2020 budget to the House of Representatives next October.

Hamdoun assured {for Al-Furat News} about “starting work in the budget of 2021 and the Ministry of Finance developing a strategy for it,” noting that “it will be delivered to the parliament in October, which will be studied and approved early.”

She said that “voting on the budget of 2021 early to avoid deficits and confusion in the work of the government and ministries”, pointing out that “there is no budget for 2020”.

“The salaries of the employees were released today because of the liquidity of the internal borrowing money, which was set at 15 million trillion dollars, in addition to the high oil prices that will help provide cash liquidity for the next 3 months,” she added.

Al-Rafidain and Al-Rasheed bank announced earlier today that employees will be released in all ministries and government institutions for the current month of July.
