Iranian media reported that the visit made by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi yesterday, Tuesday (July 21, 2020) to Tehran, included holding a meeting with the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps forces, Ismail Qazani, away from the spotlight and the media.

According to the Iranian “Alif” website, among those unannounced meetings was Al-Kazemi’s meeting with the commander of the Quds Force forces, Ismail Qazani, who succeeded Qasim Soleimani. “Some factions affiliated with Tehran, in order to facilitate the production of serious outputs, on the Iraqi-American strategic dialogue, is expected to be his second tour early next month in the American capital Washington.

He recalled that, in a few days ago, he warned the Americans by saying that “the difficult days have not come yet, and there are very difficult days awaiting the United States and the Zionist entity.”

Al-Kazimi’s visit came two days after the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, visited Baghdad and Erbil on Sunday, and his meeting with senior officials, in preparation for Al-Kazemi’s visit.

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, visited Tuesday (July 21, 2020), Iran, on an official visit, which is his first to go outside the country after taking office.

Al-Kazemi was due to visit Saudi Arabia, but the deterioration of King Salman bin Abdulaziz’s health prevented the visit.
