{Baghdad: Al Furat News} A member of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s delegation negotiating with the federal government revealed today, Saturday, new details about the negotiations and the date of the next visit to the delegation of the region to Baghdad, noting that the delegation of the region is awaiting a response from Baghdad, about the upcoming visit.

 Kurdish media reported, quoting the member, that “the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government is likely to visit Baghdad at the end of the current week, most likely,” noting that “the delegation will be headed by the Deputy President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani.”

He pointed out that “reaching an agreement between the two sides has become an imperative and urgent matter” on both sides of the negotiations, pointing out that “the files that are to be discussed are related to the financial dues of the Kurdistan region, oil, non-oil imports, customs and border ports.”

He explained that “the Baghdad government recognized all the files that the Kurdistan Regional delegation presented to them recently, including the oil production file, as the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government provided statistics on the produced quantities, which amounted to 467 thousand barrels per day, of which 30 thousand barrels for local consumption, and the rest are exported, The numbers were also released on other imports. ”

 Regarding Baghdad’s response to the oil partnership contracts concluded by the Kurdistan Regional Government, he noted that “Baghdad recognized these contracts, but says that their financial situation is difficult now, and they want the Kurdistan Regional Government to conduct matters with them at the present time with what is available to them, with the necessity of holding An agreement between the two parties. ”

It is mentioned that the most important outstanding issues between the two parties include the oil file, border crossings and airports, at a time when the poor economic and financial situation of the Kurdistan Regional Government is pushing Baghdad to raise the ceiling of its demands. is over

  1. I don,t see how ANY country within a country is going to survive. To many chiefs and the Indians don,t know which law is in TODAY ! These two have been at each other ever since I got in this thing in 2009. Good Luck.
