The Popular Mobilization Organization directed, on Saturday (11 July 2020), to prevent the affiliates of the organization from expressing their political views on social media and various media.

A document issued and received by the organization (Baghdad Today) included that “according to the directives of the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, it is strictly forbidden to express political opinions through the media and social media platforms for all members of the organization.”

According to the document issued, the authority warned “the violator to bear all legal consequences.”
