The US State Department described today, Friday, the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington positive, stressing that the dialogue will transfer relations from the military and security to a new stage.
“Her country wants all parties and components to have representatives in the Iraqi government,” said Morgan Ortagios, a spokeswoman for the ministry, adding that the United States has provided the largest humanitarian aid to Iraq.
She continued that “the strategic dialogue between America and Iraq was positive, and we will remain In Iraq until the elimination of ISIS, stressing the necessity of “ending the presence of sectarian militias in Iraq.”
She went on to say: “We support the creation of complete democracy in Iraq, and we want to support Iraq to enjoy effective democracy,” calling for “returning the displaced to their areas to achieve stability.”
