The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed today, Saturday, that “there is no exception to the amendment of salaries if approved only in two cases. The first is to not prejudice the nominal salaries at all to employees and to maintain the minimum salary without affecting those who receive 500 thousand dinars or less.” .
Saleh said in an interview reported by the Iraqi News Agency, that “the amendment will take place if it is approved only for the provisions paragraph, especially those with very high allocations gradually and without exception for any person working in the state,” noting that “the amendments will be in progressive and reasonable proportions as well as the possibility of setting A higher salary cap according to the job grade, and the ceiling cannot be exceeded, regardless of the amount of government income for workers in the country.
