Shafaq News / The Al-Fateh coalition headed by Hadi al-Amiri said on Wednesday that the Shiite forces did not pass the government of Muhammad Allawi without the Kurds and Sunnis.
Allawi is expected to present his government tomorrow to parliament for a vote on it, and Allawi, the former Minister of Communications, is supported by Shiite forces headed by all of the Sadrist movement, led by Muqtada al-Sadr, and the “Al-Fatah” coalition, led by Hadi al-Amiri.
But he faces protests from prominent Kurdish and Sunni political forces, who refuse to choose ministers without consulting them.
“The Shiite political forces have a comfortable parliamentary majority to pass the government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, but they do not want that except with the participation of Sunni and Kurdish political forces, and for this reason, the voting session has been postponed more than once,” said al-Fateh Haneen Qaddo, a member of the Al-Fateh coalition.
And that “dialogues, negotiations and meetings are continuing, and will not stop, and everyone seeks to reach solutions that satisfy all parties, before the voting session on the Allawi government, and there is optimism that the solution to the crisis is soon.”
