A meeting of Basra elders with the demonstrators ends with decisive decisions after the recent events

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} A short time ago, a meeting between sheikhs, demonstrators and activists in Basra Governorate ended, after the recent events, with the conclusion of critical decisions.

According to a statement of the two communities, {Al Furat News} received a copy of it, “A meeting attended by Basra activists and demonstrators with Sheikh Dergham al-Maliki and some of the governorate elders in the Qurna district, specifically in Sheikh Dergham’s host, which included submitting a phone call today Sunday to all public sheikhs in Basra and meeting The argument against them and knowing if they are satisfied with the insult to their children after the peaceful sit-in tents were burned. ”

The statement added, “After the agreement between the sheikhs, tents will be erected in the names of the clans who support their elders for the sit-in and raise their thugs in the sit-in.”

The statement pointed out that “among the demands that the Basra sit-in will also adopt in addition to the main demands are: – The sacking of Basra governor Asaad al-Eidani, the dismissal of Basra operations chief Qassem Nazzal, as well as the dismissal and accountability of Basra police chief Rashid Falih, and the dismissal of the leader of the shock forces, Ali Mashari.”
