Akhbariya : The director of the American Middle East Alliance, Tom Harb, confirmed on Tuesday that the popular crowd threatened the deputies if they did not vote against the American presence.
Harb said in a televised statement, followed by “Al-Akhbaria”, that “factions loyal to the crowd used threats and intimidation against the deputies who did not vote against the American presence.”
Harb added, “Iraq is for the Iraqis themselves, not for the Americans or for the Iranians, how many claim.”
Harb said that “the United Nations must support the Sunni region’s demand if the Sunnis ask for this and that US President Donald Trump will return to the United Nations if the Sunnis ask for the establishment of a province.”
