{Baghdad: Al Furat News} A source in the Human Rights Commission revealed that dozens of members of the security forces were injured in the demonstrations in Wasit Governorate.

The source said to {Euphrates News}, “We have recorded the injury of 40 members so far using stones by people in the demonstrations against the security forces.”

He added that “the injuries were to the head, back, leg and the rest of the body,” noting that “a senior officer with the rank of colonel was among the injured.”
