Jamal Fakher, MP of the Saeron Alliance, saw on Saturday 10/1-2020 that the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the “resigned” armed forces, Adel Abdel-Mahdi, is responsible for controlling the rhythm of the factions that bear arms as part of the PMF.
Fakher said in an interview singled out (Baghdad today), “The acceleration of political blocs in conducting serious dialogues to choose the personality of the new prime minister, will preserve Iraq’s decision and sovereignty.”
He added, “Choosing the prime minister according to the criteria of strength, courage and integrity, far from political quotas, will be able to protect the country from international violations and confine arms to the state.”
He pointed out that “the country is going through an unstable situation at all levels, as a result of the international crisis that occurred on its territory,” stressing “the need for political blocs to agree on choosing an independent figure and leave differences in order to preserve the country’s sovereignty, and that Iraq is strong and away from conflict.” Hubs. ”
He pointed out that “the factions carrying weapons are affiliated with the Popular Mobilization and part of the military establishment and are instructed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, who must take steps to secure the integrity of the state’s position,” stressing “the absence of uncontrolled and undisciplined bodies.”
And the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, called on Wednesday (08 January 2020), to close all headquarters of the popular crowd in the country, in order not to be a target for the United States, calling for the relentless pursuit to end the American presence in Iraq.
In a statement, Al-Sadr called on the Iraqi factions to be patient and patient, not to start military action and to silence the voice of militancy from some of the disciplines until all political, parliamentary and international methods are exhausted.
He added, “I recommend closing all headquarters of the PMF so that it is not a target for global arrogance, especially if our decision becomes military resistance with the occupier in the event he refuses to go out and exhaust all political methods.”
