Iraq informs Iran of its refusal to target the Al-Asad base in Anbar

(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Foreign Ministry announced today, Thursday, Iran has officially informed it of its refusal to attack the Ain al-Assad military base in Anbar.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it received {Al Furat News} a copy of it, that “against the background of the Iranian Islamic Republic bombing camps inside Iraq that include Iraqi and non-Iraqi forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq this morning. This is because the ambassador is in Iran on an official mission. ”

She added: “The Chargé d’Affaires was informed of the refusal of the Government of the Republic of Iraq of these attacks and considered them a violation of Iraqi sovereignty, as well as calling on all parties concerned to show restraint, and not to make Iraq a battlefield to settle scores.”

And she indicated that “it was emphasized that Iraq is an independent country, and that its internal security is a priority and adult concern.” is over
