Urgent Imam Al-Sistani to Mr. Khamenei: The news of Soleimani’s martyrdom greatly hurt us

{Najaf Al-Ashraf: Al Furat News} The supreme religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, the religious leader in Iran, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, attributed the martyrdom of the former commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani.

Imam al-Sistani sent a message of condolence to Mr. Khamenei, that “the news of the martyrdom of Hajj Qassem Soleimani hurt us a lot.”

The supreme authority added that “the role of Mr. Soleimani during the period of his war against ISIS elements was unparalleled and unforgettable, and that it bore the brunt of the crowds in this context.”
