Baghdad / .. Bayarq Al-Khair Parliamentary Bloc affirmed, today, Saturday, that the differences over the House of Representatives election law are still standing and unresolved.
The head of the bloc, Muhammad al-Khalidi, told “Eye of Iraq News” that “despite the meetings and dialogues that took place during the past days, differences and disagreements are still ongoing regarding the Parliament election law, as there is insistence that the law remains according to what serves some influential political forces.”
And Khalidi said that “up until now, there are still political blocs, despite the fall of martyrs and wounded, trying to circumvent the demands of the demonstrators, with a view to ensuring the political and electoral situation in the future, and for this it wants an election law that serves its interests.”
