Baghdad, Nov. 29 (Petra) – An informed Iraqi source said on Friday that the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Hamid al-Ghazi resigned from his post hours after the Prime Minister submitted his resignation.
The official source said that the information confirms the resignation of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid al-Ghazi.
The Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, officially submitted his resignation, on Friday, to the House of Representatives.
Abdul Mahdi said in a statement on Friday, in view of the difficult circumstances experienced by the country, and the apparent deficit in dealing with the authorities concerned with the developments of the last two months in order to preserve the rights and inject blood, the House of Representatives from which the current government is invited to reconsider its options in this The matter is acting in the interest of Iraq and preserving the blood of its people, and avoiding slipping into a cycle of violence, chaos and devastation.
