Parliament member Fadel Abdul Shanin revealed that the parliament will resume its sessions next Tuesday and make a reshuffle in the government at the request of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, in addition to the session will include the issuance of a new package of decisions related to the demonstrators.
“The session will also see the new health minister sworn in as successor to his predecessor Alaeddin Alwan, who submitted his resignation,” he said.
He added that the parliament will vote in Tuesday’s session on a number of names running proxy positions, while, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, 61 general directors will be excluded from their posts, according to the government vote not to grant them the status of director general.
