Trump: US-China trade talks are going well

US President Donald Trump said Friday that trade talks between the United States and China were “going well” as the second day of high-level negotiations aimed at easing tensions between the world’s two largest economies began.

China has so far rejected Trump’s demands for major changes in the way Beijing runs its economy, which some analysts say could undermine the Communist Party politically.
