Decisions of the Council of Ministers in its meeting today (expanded)

BAGHDAD: The Council of Ministers held its regular session, on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.
At the beginning of the session, the Prime Minister briefed on the latest developments and briefed the results of the visit to China.
The Cabinet approved the formation of the Higher Committee for School Construction.
The Council also decided to approve the sale of the duly written off items belonging to the Central Statistical Organization without a public auction.
It also approved the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on the Control of Ship Systems Resistant to the Adhesion of Impurities and Harmful Effects of 2001.
The Cabinet approved the recommendation of the competent authority in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for the protection of plastic waste products.
The Council approved the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage Damage, 2001.

Urgent Abdul Mahdi to visit Saudi Arabia tomorrow to meet King Salman and Crown Prince

BAGHDAD: Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi is to visit Saudi Arabia on Wednesday for several hours during which he will meet with King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
A statement issued by his office received by the Euphrates News Agency that the visit “to discuss relations between the two brotherly countries, regional situations and truce efforts, and Iraq’s consistent position to play its positive role in ensuring the danger of tensions and conflicts and to establish the best relations with all neighboring countries and brotherly and friendly.”

America calls on its citizens in Iraq to wake up

The United States Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday called on its citizens to be vigilant and vigilant.
“It advises all its citizens to be vigilant due to the growing tension in Iraq,” the embassy said in a statement received by the Euphrates News.
