The President of the Republic Barham Saleh, arrived on Tuesday evening 17-9-2019 to the city of Erbil.
A parliamentary source told the correspondent (Euphrates News) that “Barham Saleh now entered a meeting of all government and legislative leaders and
Political. ”
“Where the meeting included, the President of the Kurdistan region and his deputies, and the Presidency of the Parliament, the Prime Minister and most of the ministers.”
He pointed out that “it is hoped that the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi tomorrow to Erbil.”
The deputy in the Kurdistan Parliament of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Hvidar Ahmed, revealed the goal of President Barham Saleh’s visit to Erbil.
“The aim of the visit is to bring the center and the region closer together and find a common solution to resolve many controversial issues,” Ahmed said.
He stressed, “The visit will include his meeting with the Presidents of the province of Nechirvan Barzani and the government Masroor Barzani, in addition to a meeting with Democratic Party leader Masoud Barzani.”
