The President of the Republic is directing the inclusion of a paragraph in the budget to support the creators and provide health care for the pioneers

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the need to provide care and attention to journalists, writers and artists, especially the elderly, in appreciation of their constructive role in supporting the cultural and literary process and their contribution to strengthening the democratic experience in the country.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it today that Saleh “was received during his reception at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, Minister of Health and Environment Dean Alalwan and Minister of Culture and Tourism and Abdul Amir Al-Hamdani and the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Muayad al-Lami and Captain Artists Jabbar Jodi and President of the General Union of Literature And the book in Iraq, Najm al-Mamouri, to include a paragraph in the budget year {2020} to establish a special fund to support creators in the field of literature and culture and other areas, as directed by their treatment in specialized hospitals, either in Baghdad or in the Kurdistan region and as needed.
Saleh pointed out that “the responsibility of journalists, writers and artists after defeating terrorist organizations, and the need to educate citizens and equip them with knowledge, make them aware of the facts of intellectual and cultural products, as well as their role in restoring Baghdad to its prestige and status as a center of civilization and intellectual radiation.” 
Reiss listened to the detailed talks by members of the delegation reviewed the obstacles faced by the work of writers, journalists and artists in Iraq, expressing their high appreciation for his sovereignty in providing support and support for the cultural and journalist.
