MP said the alliance of Badr al-Zayadi, Saturday, that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi decided to cancel the idea of resigning from him, while he indicated that he wants to bear the responsibility carried by the political blocs and the Iraqi people.

Zayadi said in an interview with Mawazine News that “recently published on social networking sites reported the resignation of Abdul-Mahdi, but the latter told the deputies that he decided to cancel the idea of resigning from him.”

He added that “Abdul Mahdi wants to take the responsibility carried by the political blocs and the Iraqi people and proceed with the implementation of its government program and the implementation of plans that could contribute to improving the service and economic conditions in Iraq.”

He pointed out that “Abdul Mahdi has the support of all political blocs, which is the past in the implementation of programs that prompted the political blocs to come by.

Send invitations to the three presidencies to attend Barzani’s inauguration ceremony as President of Kurdistan

Revealed a source within the Office of the Presidency of the Kurdistan region, Saturday (June 8, 2019), to send official invitations to the three presidencies and political figures and ambassadors to attend the inauguration ceremony of Najran Barzani as president of the region.

The source, who declined to be named for (Baghdad today), said that “has been sent invitations to the three presidencies and leaders of the political blocs to attend the inauguration of Barzani, head of the Kurdistan region.”

“The inauguration ceremony will take place on Monday and has been invited by each of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and President Barham Salih and Speaker of Parliament Mohammed Halbusi, and heads of political blocs, including Faleh Fayad and Hadi Amiri, Khamis Khanjar, Osama Najafi, Iyad Allawi, Nuri al – Maliki and others.

“The ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries, including ambassadors of the United States and Iran, have also been invited.”

He added that “many personalities confirmed their attendance to the decrees, while did not confirm Abdul Mahdi, his presence,” saying: “If the latter can not attend will send a delegation representing him and the federal government.”

The Kurdistan Regional Parliament was elected, Tuesday (May 28, 2019) Nigervan Barzani, head of the Kurdistan region after a session to vote included the nomination of 4 personalities.

The correspondent said (Baghdad today), that the parliament voted to elect Nigervan Barzani, head of the region, with 68 votes of the 81 attendees.

Next week .. Abdul Mahdi sends the names of candidates for vacant ministries

A parliamentary source confirmed on Saturday that Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi will send the names of candidates for vacant ministries to the House of Representatives next week.

“The information available to us is that Abdulmahdi will send the names of the candidates for the defense, interior, education and justice ministries next week to vote on whether or not to give them confidence,” the source told Mawazine News.

He added that “the candidates for education and justice are the same as those that were circulated in the media (Safana Hamdani and Judge Arkan Bibani), and internal and defense is not known so far.”

On October 24, the House of Representatives gave confidence to the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, but so far no vote has been cast on the candidates of 4 ministries.
