The oil ministry announced on Saturday the total exports and revenues achieved for the month of May.
The ministry said in a statement received by “Al-Ghad Press” that “the preliminary statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (Sumo), the amount of exports 110 million and 736 thousand and 670 barrels, revenues amounted to seven billion and 384 million and 295 thousand dollars.”
The spokesman for the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad that “the total quantities exported crude oil for the month of May from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 106 million and 675 thousand and 881 barrels, while from the fields of Kirkuk through the port of Ceyhan amounted to three million and 166 thousand and 261 barrels, While the quantities exported from the field Qayyarah 894 thousand and 528 barrels.
He pointed out that “the daily average of exports amounted to three million and 572 thousand barrels, where the daily rate of export from the ports of Basra three million and 441 thousand barrels, and Ceyhan was the daily average 102 thousand barrels, while the daily rate of the field Qayara 29 thousand barrels.
Jihad said that “the average price per barrel amounted to 66,683 dollars.”
