Najafi receives US embassy in Iraq

The head of Iraq’s ruling coalition, Osama Najafi Joey Hood, has received the charge d’affaires of the US embassy in Iraq.

Nujaifi’s office said in a statement read by Al-Ghad Press that “the meeting discussed the bilateral relations and the file of the American-Iranian conflict and the political situation. For his part, Nujaifi stressed the importance of preserving Iraq from all types of potential threats. .

Nujaifi pointed to bilateral relations and their importance with the United States and the international community, and the need to activate them to reach positive results in the interests and aspirations of citizens.

He called on the US side to provide more assistance to support construction projects, especially in cities liberated from terrorists.

In response to Houd’s questions, Nujaifi presented a complete vision of the political project or current that witnessed its first preliminary meeting a few days ago. He said that the basic idea started from the end of the legislative elections to respond to the violations, falsifications and interventions. It is an open Iraqi idea that is open to others. To a performance that rejects any intervention or attempt to gain, and derives its legitimacy from the pulse of the people and the need for a decent life and a secure future.

For his part, Joy Hood emphasized the commitment of the United States of America to the provisions of the strategic agreement, and that Iraq will not be a base to attack any country. The Chargé d’Affaires expressed his agreement with the views and analyzes of Nujaifi, stressing the desire to communicate in a way that serves the relations between the two friendly countries.
