Halabousi discusses with his Kuwaiti and Saudi counterparts parliamentary cooperation and reconstruction of Iraq

(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halabousi discussed on Sunday with the President of the Shura Council on the sidelines of his participation in the Arab Parliaments Conference Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim al-Sheikh bilateral relations between the two countries.

The two sides also discussed “ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination in the parliamentary field, as well as to unite positions in parliamentary forums at the Arab and international levels.”

He met Halbusi his Kuwaiti counterpart Marzouk Ali Al – Ghanim, and discussed with him a number of files and issues of common concern, and activating friendship committees parliamentary between the two countries, as well as to promote cooperation between Iraq and Kuwait and ways of developing them to serve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples. ”

He stressed” the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation in All areas, especially the reconstruction file by encouraging investors to invest in Iraq; to rebuild destroyed cities and underserved areas, as well as contribute to the return efforts of displaced persons and stability. ”
