Global markets await 5 economic events this week

Investors are looking forward to a strong week in the global markets in which a large number of economic data will be unveiled, as well as important political events.

The British Parliament is voting this week on the Brixet deal, and companies are starting to disclose their results, as well as disclosing OPEC’s monthly report.

OPEC Report OPEC

announces its monthly oil production report for December last Thursday, amid expectations of a sharp decline in output.

OPEC oil production fell by 460,000 bpd last month, the biggest monthly drop since January 2017, to 32.68 million bpd, a Reuters survey showed.

Since the beginning of this month, OPEC and its allies have reduced their oil production by 1.2 million barrels per day.

The vote of the bricast

LONDON (Reuters) – The British parliament is voting on the bricast deal on Tuesday amid sharp fears that the deal would be rejected by British lawmakers.

The vote is the second date after the first date was canceled in November.

In the past few days, various press reports have been published indicating the possibility of holding early general elections in the coming period.

There were also other reports that the implementation of the bricast scheduled for March 29 may be postponed until after.

Although British government officials have confirmed the implementation of the bricast on time, the ambiguity so far surrounds the UK’s exit from the EU.

Economic Data

Investors are expected to release a number of important economic data this week in a number of countries.

In the US, producer price data will be released on Tuesday from December, with expectations of a 0.1% drop on a monthly basis.

The UK is showing inflation data with expectations of a slowdown to 2.1%.

On Thursday, the euro zone will reveal final inflation data expected to be consistent with the first reading.

G-20 meeting The Group of 20 (G20) will

hold a meeting on Thursday of this week in the presence of finance ministers and heads of central banks of member states.

The Group of 20 meetings are held without a media presence but will issue a statement after the meeting, including the highlights of the discussion.

Corporate Business Results This

week, the Marathon is announcing the results of the business, with the emergence of strong banks.

JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are due to disclose their results for the fourth quarter of 2018.
