[Asharq Al-Awsat] Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi asked the Iraqi parliament to postpone the vote on the ministers of interior and defense because of the deliberations on them are not yet over, while he submitted two names to fill the posts of the National Investment Commission and the Advisor of the Prime Minister.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives has allocated a session on the eighth of the beginning of next year to vote on the remaining of the ministers vacant, namely the defense, the interior, and justice.
According to the book, which bears the signature of Abdul Mahdi, “because of the completion of the ministerial reshuffle of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, we send you new nominations for candidates of the National Investment Commission and the Advisor of the Prime Minister with the biography and statement Ray Authority of Integrity and Accountability and Justice.”
The candidates for the posts according to the book are Nabat Farman Al-Abboudi to fill the position of the National Investment Authority, and Nawfal Abu Al-Shun Hassan to the adviser of the Prime Minister
He called on Abdul-Mahdi to “postpone the introduction of candidates for defense and internal until the issue is resolved, because there are talks about the names of candidates or to provide an alternative candidate.”
