The court based its decision on Fayyad’s complaint and his stabbing on Ebadi’s decision, which included his dismissal from his duties as advisor to the National Security and the Presidency of the Popular Struggle Authority and the National Security Apparatus. There are serious reasons to consider the plaintiff’s request and the possibility of remedying the damages resulting from the implementation of the contested decision. The outgoing Prime Minister Haider Abadi Issued a decree ordering the exemption of Faleh al-Fayadh from all his government posts, “making it a political intervention.”
