The Association of Iraqi Private Banks held a training course on Sunday titled “The requirements of different quality management systems according to the ISO system” at the headquarters of the Association, with the participation of a number of government and private banks and financial transfer companies.
During the opening of the session which was attended by “Economy News”, the Executive Director of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks Ali Tarek said that the course will last for five days. The first day will include explaining the “requirements of different quality management systems according to the ISO system.” The remaining four days will be discussed To “business continuity management system 22301 ISO”, indicating that “the purpose of the course the ability to develop the audit plan and checklists in accordance with the requirements of the Business Continuity Standard and the ability to know the points of non-conformity of the system.”
He added that “the target group in the session are quality and risk management officials and officials of the security and information technology in the banking and financial sector.”
Tariq pointed out that “this session comes within the guidance of the Central Bank in raising the performance of the banking employee in public and private banks and qualified to provide banking services with high quality.”
ERBIL — A delegation, made up of several Iraqi political leaders, arrived in Erbil on Sunday to discuss the efforts pertaining the formation of next Iraqi government.
The leader of Hikmah Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, is leading the delegation which includes Salih Mutlag, Khalid al-Obaidi and several other political leaders who have together formed the Coalition for Reform.
A member of the delegation told reporters that the latest political developments and the formation of next Iraqi government would top their agenda in the Kurdistan Region.
According to the information obtained by BasNews, the Iraqi delegates will meet with Masoud Barzani, the president of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
They are expected to visit Sulaymaniyah later to hold meetings with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
