URGENT Parliament holds deliberative session for non-quorum

{Baghdad: Al-Furat News} The House of Representatives held a deliberative session, for lack of quorum.

A parliamentary source told the {Euphrates News}, “The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Hamam Hamoudi, and the presence of 127 deputies.”

A total of 166 deputies are required to hold a full legal quorum.

The deputies tried this morning to hold a session to vote on the law of the fourth amendment to the law of the elections of the House of Representatives No. 45 of 2013, which extends the life of the current parliamentary session – which officially ends at 12 pm – until the completion of counting and manual counting of the election results.
