The cabinet on Sunday approved the five-year national development plan (2018-2022) to achieve economic growth of 7 percent and increase oil production by 6.5 million bpd.
The Cabinet, in a press statement received by “Economy News”, it “held on Sunday, its regular chaired by Prime Minister Haider Abadi,” explaining that “the Council approved the National Development Plan five-year (2018-2022), which is based on the main axes (good governance , Private sector, provincial reconstruction, poverty alleviation).
“The plan focuses on the promotion of productive sectors (agriculture and industry) that move the rest of the sectors to reach a target economic growth rate of 7%, increase production capacity in the crude oil sector to (6.5) million barrels per day, and provide sustainable employment opportunities Poverty reduction and many other paragraphs. “
