Denied the federal government, the conclusion of an agreement that includes the application of the system of savings on the salaries of employees of the provinces of Kurdistan, calling for its abolition in response to the demands of the demonstrators.
“The news that there is a deal between the federal governments and the Kurdistan region regarding the implementation of the system of saving on the salaries of the staff of the region is unfounded,” said Saad al-Hadithi, a spokesman for the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office.
Al-Hadithi said in a statement to the newspaper “the new morning,” that “the federal government fulfilled its commitment to provide part of the allocations of salaries of staff of the region.”
He pointed out to “send 371 billion and 540 million dinars to the Government of the Territory, which is the responsibility to complete the amount of oil revenues obtained from the sale of oil produced in the fields of the region.”
Al-Hadithi stressed that “the salaries of the employees of the region must be full, without deduction or deduction, or savings, or any action that makes those salaries less than the official spending in other provinces of Iraq.”
He said Hadithi that “the region has the financial cover for this matter, and the guide is to take a decision to reduce the savings rate to between (10-20)%.”
He explained that “the savings rate had reached in the past to (50%) with the same percentage of revenue.”
