The Parliamentary Committee of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, the MP of the Kurdistan Alliance, Ahmad Hama, told the correspondent “Sputnik” in Iraq, on Tuesday, 20 March, on the amount of funds sent by the federal government to pay the salaries of Peshmerga forces of the Kurdistan region.

Hama assured our agency, that the Iraqi federal government, sent an amount of 317 billion Iraqi dinars, to the Kurdistan region, to spend on the salaries of employees of all ministries, including Peshmerga forces.

He explained that the amount of 35 billion dinars allocated to the Peshmerga forces, noting that “the agreement with the center, was to spend the salaries of the ministries of health and education only, but changed overnight, and Baghdad sent the full funds to all ministries.”The decision of the Finance Committee in the Iraqi parliament, MP from the Kurdistan Alliance for the mass of the Islamic Group, at the end of his speech, to the existence of a political agreement or what he called “cook”, resulting in the federal government to pay the salaries of all the employees of the region in all ministries, not only health and education.

The official spokesman of the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region, Khalis Qadir, said in a statement to correspond with us, on March 2, that the commissions sent by the federal government to the region has gone a long way in resolving the outstanding issues between the parties.

He explained that the competent committees of the federal government, which works to audit the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region, so far completed more than 96% of the instructions entrusted to it.

The official spokesman of the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region, Khalas Qadir, in a special statement to the ” Sputnik ” in Iraq , on February 5, that the volume of funds salaries of employees of the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan region for the month of January, about 50 billion Iraqi dinars, because the total staffing of the staff is 52 thousand employees.

“The Iraqi government has sent 317 billion dinars to the Kurdistan region, and this money is for all ministries, including the Ministry of Peshmerga and security forces, and not only the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Regional Government, after the arrival of salaries from the center, And health “.

The ministry added that the Kurdistan Regional Government needs 900 billion dinars, to distribute the salaries of all ministries without the system of saving the salaries of employees.

According to the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan region, the salaries of employees of the Ministry of Health, Municipalities, Tourism, Interior, Martyrs, Martyrs and Anfal families, and political, financial and sexual prisoners will be distributed on Monday and Tuesday during this week.
