UNHCR: Delivering 5 million biometric cards

The Independent High Electoral Commission distributed five million voter registration cards to over 49 percent in all governorates except Nineveh, while confirming that more than 1.7 million new voters had registered
their data.

Five million cards were distributed, more than 49 percent of which were out of the total number of 11 million cards. ”
