A spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government, Sven Dziyi, on Sunday, expressed the hope that positive meetings between the heads of the federal government and the region will translate into practical steps.
He said Dziay in a statement to the twilight News, that the meetings are positive between Baghdad and the region and welcomed by the provincial government and the meeting in Munich is the third between Abadi and Barzani, but there is still no practical step.
He added that some issues could be resolved by a decision of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and do not need more committees or other technical steps, for example ending the suspension of international flights to and from airports in the region, especially after the presence of federal government employees at those airports.
The provincial government spokesman stressed that all files should not be mixed together.
