BAGHDAD – Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Thursday that the Peshmerga’s share of the budget is stable without any change.
“The share of the Peshmerga forces in the budget is stable without any change,” Abadi said in a speech in the House of Representatives followed by “Iraq News”.
“The 17 percent is just a political agreement that was already in place and justice and equity must be in place at this time,” he said.
He added that “the reduction included all the provinces of Iraq and did not exclude anyone,” adding that “we have no goal in the Kurdistan region, but justice.”
He pointed out that “what counts for the son of the South within the non-sovereign expenses calculated for the son of the region,” explaining that “the budget must cooperate on all of them.” Finished
