A Russian airline is resuming flights to Baghdad

The Russian Federation of Air Transport said on Tuesday that the airline “Red Wings” got the admission to make regular flights to the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
According to Sputnik, the agency said that the company can fly to Baghdad once a week.
After a 13-year hiatus, mid-September 2017 resumed flights between Baghdad and Moscow, where flights to Iraq were suspended in 2004 due to low security for flights.
Last year, Red Wings, a subsidiary of Islamic Finance, announced that it had merged with Nordavia, which is part of its fleet to 204, as well as Airbus A320 and A321.
