Called for Arab and foreign companies to resume flight through

The Ministry of Transport confirmed that the airspace of Iraq is open to Arab and international airlines, noting that it has not closed the atmosphere over the past years, while calling for companies to resume their tracks in the atmosphere of the country.
“The Iraqi airspace is open to Arab and international airlines and has not been closed during the past years,” said the spokesman for the Iraqi General Company for Iraqi Airways, Akram Loibi, in a statement to Al-Sabah. He said that the ministry has continued with Arab and international airlines to return. To fly through the Iraqi airspace for its sovereign and financial returns can be achieved for the state.
He added that the relevant sections of the Civil Aviation Authority provided facilities to airlines, which use the Iraqi airspace. The UAE airline and the Union Company responded to the flight and traffic through the Iraqi airspace. He explained that mid-week the two companies will resume their flights through the Iraqi airspace at the rate of 160 aircraft per day , And it is hoped that the rates of air transit will increase in the next few days.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Transport seeks to expand the map of its flights to include Arab and European countries will be added to the table of destinations flights, indicating that next year will see a wide openness to the airspace and airports in Iraq under the plans set by the ministry to develop the performance of the national carrier.
It is worth mentioning that the Arab and international airlines have diverted their aircraft to other destinations during the military operations to eliminate the terrorist gangs. After the victory over these gangs, most of these companies are due to return through Iraqi airspace.
