Kurdistan Parliament announces the closure of the nomination for the presidency of the region

 

The Parliament of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, on Wednesday, the closure of the nomination for the presidency of the region without the submission of any person to run for office and the scope of the Commission.

A member of the regional parliament for the Islamic Group, “The Kurdistan Regional Commission has opened suddenly to run for the post of president of the region and without prior announcement.”

He added that “any person did not apply for the presidency of the region and closed the Office of the door to the Imam of those interested,” noting that “the Commission will submit a letter to the Parliament of the region to take a decision in this regard.”
