Kurdish delegation meets with the President of the Supreme Council in Baghdad

A source familiar with the Kurdish delegation visiting Baghdad met on Wednesday with the leader of the Islamic Supreme Council Hammam Hamoudi.

The source said in a statement to the twilight news, that the delegation entered a little earlier in a meeting with Hamoudi in the latter’s office in Baghdad.

The meeting comes as a continuation of several meetings held by the Kurdish delegation since Monday with government officials and party leaders to discuss the referendum, which the Kurdistan region intends to hold for independence from Iraq.
