The secretary of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Fadhil Mirani said that the head of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani and the first deputy secretary-general of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Kosrat Rasul Ali, will resolve today to name members of the delegation to Baghdad. Noting that the Kurdish forces are waiting for an initiative by the Movement for Change, stressing at the same time that the delegation will be formed even in the absence of change.

The sources quoted the media adviser in the Office of the Presidency of the province Kifah Mahmoud as saying that the delegation will be high-level and will represent the Supreme Council for the referendum in Kurdistan. “Perhaps President Masoud Barzani and his deputy, Kosrat Rasool, will head this delegation, which will be political, technical and governmental, to start consultations with our partners in Baghdad.

He pointed out that the visit of the delegation will be before August 10 this year.
