A member of the referendum council of the Kurdistan region of Yerevan, on Monday, the formation of a Kurdish delegation to negotiate with Baghdad on the referendum on the independence of the region, likely to visit the delegation Baghdad, the end of this week.

“The meeting decided to form an official delegation to negotiate with Baghdad on the referendum on the independence of Kurdistan,” Nissan said in an interview for Alsumaria News, “The Kurdistan Regional Council held a meeting on Monday under the supervision of Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani.”

“The delegation includes representatives of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Islamic Union and representatives of the components of Christianity, Turkmen and Yezidi,” likely to “visit the delegation Baghdad this weekend.”

The Kurdish parties held a meeting on June 7, 2017 in the resort of Salah al-Din in Erbil, headed by Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani amid the province of some political forces, and agreed to hold a referendum on the fate of the region on the twenty-fifth of September.
