(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The head of the Intelligence Falcons cell of the Ministry of Interior revealed more details of the most dangerous terrorist scheme in the history of Iraq.

The head of the hawks’ cell and director of intelligence and counterterrorism at the Interior Ministry, Abu Ali al-Basri, said in an exclusive statement to Al-Sabah newspaper that “the terrorist advocate has prepared three separate terrorist operations and leaders from outside the country to attack the mausoleums of the imams in Karbala and Najaf. And the house of the reference of the nation Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani and the mosque of Kufa and Basra, a number of car bombs and dozens of suicide bombers of different nationalities in cooperation with gangs of smuggling to facilitate the entry of weapons and suicide bombers into the targeted provinces. 

Al-Basri added that “after confirming the information of our sources, the terrorist plan was presented to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Interior Minister Qassim Al-Araji to approve the implementation of a pre-emptive plan in coordination with the Joint Operations Command using our F-16 aircraft. Which will go to the holy sites and Basra. ” 

“According to our documented information, seven large targets were destroyed in the centers of the gathering of terrorists and car bombs in the area of ​​the Syrian fields and the outskirts of the city of Al-Qaim west of Anbar before they launched hours of those additives towards their targets in Karbala, Najaf, Samarra, Kufa and Basra. Dozens of them. ”
