Nineveh operations: All units waiting for zero hour to free Tal Afar

The commander of the operations of Nineveh Major General Najm Jubouri, on Sunday, that all military units waiting for zero hour to storm the district of Tal Afar.

Jubouri said in a television interview that “the victory achieved in the right coast of the city of Mosul gave a significant moral incentive to all military units in the army and police and the crowd to advance in the rest of the areas that are still in the hands of the groups of criminal advocates.”

He added that “all military units are ready to liberate Tal Afar and finalize the page of Mosul.”

Jubouri pointed out that “information within the judiciary confirms that the elements of criminals are suffering from the internal division in the ranks because of the escape of their leaders and the great break that happened to them in the right coast of the city of Mosul.”

A spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense Brigadier-General Mohammad al-Khudari, said Sunday, that the Iraqi forces have completed their preparations to launch the process of restoring the district of Tal Afar from the organization is calling.

Al-Khudari confirmed in a radio interview that inspections and clearance in the remaining pockets of a mosque in Mosul will not affect the launching of new military operations.

Al-Khudari stressed the importance of securing the Iraqi-Syrian border, adding that Iraqi forces supported by air cover prevented many infiltrations from and to Iraq.

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, due to the complex population structure in Tal Afar, will be charged with joint forces to break into the city, spearheaded by counterterrorism amid leaks about the participation of the 5,000-strong Al-Abbas combat force, which is determined by the Iraqi Defense Ministry.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi announced on July 10 that the city of Mosul was completely restored from the control of the Daedash organization in a large-scale military operations launched in October last year.
