Anatolia: On news of the retreat of the organization in western Mosul, Iraqi state television announced the fall of the “State of Myth”, apparently a reference to the state of the caliphate declared by the leader of the “Islamic State” (Dahesh) in 2014.

In an urgent news broadcast on the television news channel confirmed the collapse of the strength of the militant organization, in Mosul after the control of the mosque Nuri, who announced the leader of the organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi from the pulpit what he called the “Caliphate” in the summer of 2014.

Earlier in the day, Iraqi forces announced control of the site of the al-Nuri Mosque and its historic minaret al- Hadba, which had already been destroyed by extremists.

The militants of the “Da’ash” terrorist had set off on 21 of this month the mosque and the minaret, which is known as humpback and dates back to more than 800 years ago, which caused widespread condemnation around the world.

The mosque carries great symbolism for the organization, and many believed that the return of Iraqi forces to the mosque would be a defeat in Iraq, which was supported by state television announced today.
