The city of Mosul received the center of Ninewa province and the newly liberated from the control of Eid al-Fitr, one day after attacks by terrorists on one of the commercial markets in the city.
“The market of the Prophet has become crowded with hundreds of thieves during the day and witnessed a large ongoing movement, in exchange for the closure and security measures witnessed by Muthanna markets, flowers and cultural group,” the correspondent of Al-Ghad Press said.
“The bombings in Muthanna, despite their fear, were something they were used to and did not ruin the first joy after liberation,” local residents said.
“The police have taken all security measures in the city and its markets to waste the opportunity on the terrorists,” said Brigadier Wathiq al-Hamdani, head of the Ninewa police. “The people of Mosul love life and the evidence of their return after one day to do their work and prepare for Eid.”
“Four major parks will be opened in the Eid, as well as sub-parks in various areas on the left, with security barriers to preserve the lives of the people celebrating the Eid,” Mosul City Director Abdul Sattar al-Habbo told Al-Ghad Press.
