Ala Talabani exempt from the presidency of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan ( PUK ) decided to exempt a member of the party leadership, president of the Union bloc in the House of Representatives, Ala Talabani, from her position, without receiving information about the reasons for the exemption.
The decision was issued by the Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Rasool, on Monday 06/12/2017, stating exempting a member of the party leadership, and the president of the Union bloc in the Iraqi parliament, Ala Talabani, from her post.
According to the resolution , which the agency received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that it “decides toexempt both Talabani from her post at the meeting held on 05.29.2017, in the presence of Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Rasool, and a member of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union ofKurdistan , Hero Ibrahim Ahmed. ”
The Ala Talabani, said earlier, “It is rumored on the tongues of the people that I belong to the clan origins date back to the Bani Asad, one of the Iraqi tribes inhabiting the regions of the Middle Euphrates.”
The remarks provoked a great feedback, where the response from the Office of the Secretary – General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Jalal Talabani, on both Talabani ‘s remarks, saying it “alone bears responsibility for this statement, which is a trend without thinking, everyone knows that the origins of Talibans belonging to the Zangana.”
