The Minister of Planning and Minister of Trade Salman Jumaili, on Friday, a meeting with the Jordanian side on the sidelines of the Davos forum, to discuss investment in Iraq.

“The meeting discussed the mechanisms required to facilitate the reality of Jordanian and Iraqi investments, especially that there are more than 18 billion dollars of Iraqi funds invested in Jordan,” a statement by the Ministry of Planning said. “The meeting also discussed the problems and obstacles facing investors and men, Business and the possibility of overcoming them. “

The statement added that “the Iraqi and Jordanian sides discussed during the joint meeting, the economic and investment opportunities available in Iraq and facilitate the proposed procedures in this context.”

The ninth edition of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa (Davos) was launched today in the Dead Sea region, where representatives of selected companies and international figures from 1000 representatives of governments, successful business and civil society gather.

The forum is working with the International Finance Corporation to bring together 100 emerging Arab companies that are shaping the future of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and have been selected in collaboration with leading experts, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the region.
