Al-Taghier (Change) channel aired an interview on Monday with one of the survivors of Camp Speicher massacre committed by ISIS terrorists in 2014 .
The survivor accused Nouri al-Maliki, former prime minister who allied himself with Iran, of being behind the massacre.
Maliki, currently Iraq’s vice president, called on the different government apparatuses to help the families of the martyrs as well as the survivors to help them overcome difficulties they face due to the bloodshed.
On 12 June 2014, ISIS terrorists killed at least 1,566 Iraqi Air Force cadets in an attack on Camp Speicher in Tikrit.
At the time of the attack there were between 4,000 and 11,000 unarmed cadets in the camp.
On September 3, a session started in the parliament with the attendance of representatives of the families and Sa’dun al-Dulaimi, along with other military officials to discuss the massacre.
On 16 September, the Kurdish Asayish arrested 4 people suspected to be involved in the massacre in southern Kirkuk.
