President of Iraq’s civilization bloc and chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Talal Zobaie, Wednesday that the US presence in Iraq, he said he wanted preserve balance and prevent marginalization.

Zobaie said in an interview with the Baghdad Center for Strategic Studies and International Relations, said that “parties in Iraq do not want to prevent foreign conferences because they strengthen its presence and give it legitimacy.”

And that “the solution lies in a transparent electoral system and independent Commission as well as electoral awareness and so would be the solution internally,” and urged “the presence of US troops in Iraq after Daesh to ensure his return once again.”

He said, he was “a lot of Ayaol on external solutions; because it did not bring good to Iraq,” adding that “sectarian parties are counting on those conferences because they provide legal cover for their survival and that he would not attend those conferences.”
